I became interested in yoga and bodywork about 10 years ago, during a period of ill health and while working in a profession I did not enjoy. I immersed myself in a vigorating yoga practice and gradually found myself getting healthier and more content with life in general.
In 2002,I decided to take the plunge and retrain as a Yoga teacher with the British Wheel of Yoga and in parallel embarked on a 3-year professional training course with the Shiatsu College,Brighton. And I haven’t looked back since.
Since graduating,I have been working as a Shiatsu practitioner and Yoga teacher in busy clinics in Shoreham-by-Sea (www.shorehamshiatsu.com) and Brighton where I work closely with other complementary health practitioners. I feel that the combination of Yoga and Shiatsu have equipped me extremely well to help my clients optimise their health and well-being.
I have been assisting with the Shiatsu College for the last 4 years and have recently been accepted onto the Teacher register MRSS(T),with the Shiatsu Society. I am currently teaching day workshops and courses for family and friends with Matt Woods.
I live with my husband Duncan, son Seth and unruly Jack Russell Rufus in Shoreham-by-Sea.
